Day 01: Bangalore – Mysore
Today morning pick up from Airport or Railway station then you can start to drive to Mysore - called the Palace city, is also famous for sandalwood. Until India got freedom, Mysore was the capital of Karnataka. On reaching, check in to the hotel and after small refreshment, you can visit famous Mysore palace, The architectural style of the palace is commonly described as Indo-Saracenic, and blends together Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. Later visit Chamundi Hills, which is topped with a 12th-century temple of Durga with the magnificent 5m tall Nandi, Carved from a single piece of granite in 1659, it's one of largest in India. In the evening we visit Brindavan Gardens, dancing musical fountains on the terraces of Krishnarajasagar Dam, Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 02: Mysore – Coorg
Today morning after breakfast you can start drive to Coorg. So-called Scotland of South India. Enroute visit the “Namdroling Monastery Bylakuppe” – one of the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. [Visit at monastery subject to permission]. Post-visit proceed to Coorg and check in to the hotel of stay. Overnight at hotel in Coorg.
Day 03: Coorg
After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Coorg visiting places of interest such “Dubbare Elephant Camp” - This camp has plenty of elephants which are trained under naturalist. A trained Naturalist is at hand to explain the various aspects of Elephant history, ecology and biology. The visitor can not only observe and learn but also participate in various activities involving Elephants. “Abbey Falls” - one of the most amazing attractions in the Coorg. The picturesque view of the falls is breathtaking. “Raja’s seat” - is a seasonal garden of flowers and fountains. “Madikeri fort & museum” - a historical landmark of Coorg. The fort was constructed in the latter part of the 17th century by Muddu Raja, the then king of Coorg. It is a unique fort that houses among other structures a temple, an Anglican Church, a prison and a museum. Later in the evening return to the hotel of stay. Overnight at hotel in Coorg.
Day 04:Departure back home
Today morning after breakfast you can start drive to Bangalore airport /railway station to board your onward journey. We are looking forward to your next trip.
